Making candle wax from scratch requires resin powder, but in case it's unavailable, you can use mica or epoxy powder instead to create the wax. But it's important to note that if you use any other ingredient in place of the resin powder, your candle wax may change in terms of texture and other properties. I recommend experimenting with various ratios and techniques to ensure that you achieve a desirable outcome before making any recipe modifications.

I wanted to thank you for visiting my website and for leaving a comment. I am sorry for any confusion that my post may have caused. In my recipe for lotion candles, I use both beeswax and soy wax in the ingredients list. I understand how this could have been unclear, so I want to clarify that I only use beeswax and not soy wax. So, now that we've cleared things up, please try my recipe and let me know how your lotion candles turn out. All the best and happy candle-making!

Hi Morgan,

Sorry for the late response.

You should heat it enough to get a proper nice mixture later on. Related to the burn-off, it is not really normal to have them.

Let me know if you have more questions. Cheers!

Hi Felicia,

Sorry for the late response.

Yes, you may add fragrance to the lotion candles. That's an awesome idea to make them even better! :)

Let me know if you have more questions. Cheers!
